  1. On the navigation pane, click Kyvos Manager Settings > Users.

  2. On the Users page, click the plus icon.

  3. Enter information in displayed fields as:

Parameter

Description

Username

Enter a unique name. 

User Auth Type 

Select the authentication type as Native or LDAP.
NOTE

  • If you select Native, the SMTP service must be configured and verified to receive emails. Also, the Get system generated password on the email checkbox is enabled. 

  • If you select LDAP, then your username should exist in the LDAP database.

Email

Specify the email ID of the user. An auto-generated email containing credentials and the Kyvos Manager access URL will be sent to this email address.

The checkbox is enabled when you select the User Auth Type as Native

  • Users receive an email, which is sent to their registered email address. The email is sent with the subject Your Kyvos Manager has been created.

  • The email contains the user's account details, such as a username, password, and a link to access the Kyvos Manager, which is used to activate the new account. 

  • The Password and Confirm Password fields are disabled if you select the checkbox. 

Password

Provide a password for the user. 

Confirm Password

Re-enter the password to confirm. 

First Name

Provide the first name of the user.

Last Name

Provide the last name of the user

User Status

Select Active to enable the user. Similarly, you can select Inactive to disable the user.
The disabled user cannot access the Kyvos Manager application. 

  1. Click the Save button to create and save the user.

  2. To add more users, repeat the steps.

Modifying user details

To modify user details, click the Edit User icon , make the necessary changes, and click Save.
