You can define the order of a drill down in a semantic model by date, location, etc., by setting up the order in the hierarchy. The order shown in the hierarchy is the order used.

To define drill downs, perform the following steps. 

  1. From the Toolbox, click Semantic Models.

  2. Select a semantic model from the list. In the Design view, locate the dimension you want to modify.

  3. Click to expand the Hierarchy view members.

  4. Drag a member up or down within the hierarchy by clicking the icon to the right of the member name to change the order.
