To add a reference band or line, perform the following steps.
- From the Toolbox, select Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet.
- Select Design if needed.
- In the Properties pane, scroll down if needed.
- In the Reference Band/Line section, click the Left Axis or Right Axis link.
- The Create Reference Band/Line dialog box is displayed.
- Select the type as Band or line.
- To create a reference band, do the following:
Specify the start and end values using either the Value option (for numeric values) or the Measure option (for required measures).
- Set the background color.
- Enter a label for a reference band.
- To create a reference line, do the following:
- Specify the value using either the Value option (for numeric values) or the Measure option (for required measures).
- Select the line style, line weight, and background color.
- Enter a label for a reference line.
- To create a reference band, do the following:
- Choose the Axis, Chart, or Legend option to display the reference label you added.
- Select the Include values in label checkbox if you want to to display the XY chart value where the reference band is set.
- Click Apply.
