You can now process a semantic model in a tabular format, which enhances flexibility. The With the Quick Data Modeling feature, Kyvos automatically validates your registered data and creates relationships and semantic model design, eliminating the effort and time needed to design the OLAP model. For the manual design and process of the semantic model, see the Working with Semantic Models section.
Quick Data Modeling allows you to work with large datasets stored across multiple tables or to quickly process the semantic model with minimal input by selecting the required table.

Kyvos Compute Processing must be enabled at the application level. If you want to process a semantic model by changing its compute cluster type, change the value of the kyvos.process.compute.typeadvanced semantic model property. During Kyvos deployment, you can enable the Compute Cluster type as Kyvos Native. If this was not configured during deployment, it can be updated later through the Kyvos Manager on the Compute Cluster page.
Raw data querying must also be enabled on the semantic model. If the option to enable raw data querying is not visible in Kyvos, it may not be enabled at the application level. To enable this feature:
Navigate to the Kyvos Properties page.
Search for the RAW_DATA_QUERYING_ENABLED property.
Set the property's value to true.

Note Kyvos does not allow raw data querying when the semantic model includes Has Alternate Paths, Has Parent-Child Relation, and Custom Rollup Settings. As a result, the value of the Raw Data Querying property cannot be modified. |
