The Kyvos Properties Guide is intended for people who want to use Advanced properties to fine-tune performance or extend Kyvos functionality.
Kyvos enables you to work with these types of properties.
Application level properties: These properties govern the overall cluster installation, deployment, and web portal. You can use these properties to define the configuration for security, query engines, BI Servers, and how the web portal works. To access these properties, navigate to the Properties page on the Kyvos Manager portal. You can see some web portal-specific properties in the portal.properties file available at <install location>/webapps/kyvos/client/config folder. These properties can be set from the Kyvos Manager portal. Please contact Kyvos Support for assistance.
Connection level properties: These properties govern the connection-specific configuration for the overall cluster. To access these properties, navigate to the Connections page and use the Properties link.
Semantic Model advanced properties: These properties enable you to fine-tune your semantic model and query performance. To access these properties, navigate to the semantic model designer on the Kyvos portal.
NOTE: Property values at the cube level will override the values set at the connection level.
