The Mail Account feature on the navigation pane enables you to configure an outgoing mail account for sending emails through the Kyvos Manager and Kyvos. For the proper working of the email function, the server must have a valid working email account for sending email messages. The mail server and port defined for SMTP must be accessible from the Kyvos Manager server and Kyvos.

To configure a mail account, perform the following steps:

  1. On the navigation bar, click Mail Account

  2. On the Mail Account page, you can do the following:

    • Set mail account for outgoing mails from Kyvos: For this, select the Configure in Kyvos checkbox.

    • Set mail account for outgoing mails from Kyvos Manager: For this, select the Configure in Kyvos Manager checkbox.

  3. Select the Mail Service from SMTP or SendGrid.
