You can view and download Kyvos Cluster Services logs details. 

From Kyvos 2024.12 onwards, you can generate thread dump for KM agent and only download thread dump of BI Server and Query Engine added on services logs.

To view the services, perform the following steps: 

  1. On the Monitor page, click the Logs Files tab. The Services tab is selected by default.
    The page lists all the Kyvos cluster log details.

  2. On In the page Criteria pane, perform select the following actions:  

    Fetch Log List: Select the

    1. The required Service(s) and , Node(s), or File Type as logs or thread dump from the list. By default, you can download all logs for all services and nodes.

    2. Click Fetch List. The details will be displayed in the right pane.

  3. On the page, perform the following actions: 

    1. To download compute server logs: Enter the number of days for which you want to download Compute Server and Compute Server Pod logs, and then Click here. A tar file will be downloaded to your local system.
      NOTE: This is applicable to all cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP) deployments for Kyvos Native (Kubernetes) deployments.

    2. Clear Log Cache: Click the Actions menu (...) at the top-right of the page, and then select this option to free the hard disk space by clearing the logs cache on and Kyvos Manager nodes.

    3. Configure Logging: Click the Actions menu (...) at the top-right of the page, and then select this option to configure the Kyvos Manager agent logging parameters like log level, file size, and backup file count.

    4. Generate Thread Dump: Select nodes to generate thread dump for KM Agent.

      1. Click Actions menu () and then select Generate Thread Dump.

      2. Select the node from the list.

      3. Click Generate & Download. The tar file is downloaded.

    5. Download, View or Delete the selected service.

      • Download: Use this link to download the Active or Passive Kyvos Manager logs.

      • View: Use this link to view the Active or Passive Kyvos Manager logs in detail . The Log File Details dialog is displayed. Click Close to exit the dialog box.

      • Delete: Use this option to delete the selected log file. Clicking the link will display the a confirmation dialog to delete the log file.

  1. To view cluster logs, click Monitor and High Availability> Monitor on the navigation pane. The Monitor page is displayed. 

  2. On the Monitor page, click the Kyvos Manager tab. 

  3. On the Logs Files page, click the Kyvos Manager tab.

  4. In the Nodes section, select the required node, and then click Fetch Log List. The list of the Kyvos Manager log file is displayed for the selected node. You can select a single node or Select All nodes.

  5. On the page, select the required Kyvos Manager log file to perform the required action, such as Download, View, or Delete. You can Download All log files.

  6. You can also select a single log file or Select All option to perform the required action. You can also click the Clear Selection to clear the selected log files.

  7. If required, you can configure the Kyvos Manager agent logging parameters like log level, file size, backup file count, SSH log level, and JSCH log level. To do this, click the Actions menu (...) at the top-right of the pane and then select Configure Logging
