Kyvos Manager enables you to update the Kyvos license for an already deployed cluster. Kyvos Manager lets you update the license for all an existing clusters.You can view, download, or generate the combined license file for all the nodes designated as either BI Server or Secondary BI Server in the cluster from the Kyvos Manager.Kyvos cluster.

Viewing Kyvos License information

For this, click the cluster name > License  > Kyvos License on the navigation pagepane.

The Kyvos License page displays information about the existing the current license information including the License Type, Start Date, End Date and the number of BI Server and Query Engine nodes available in the license.

Updating Kyvos License

To get a new license, you will need a combined license file. The Kyvos Manager allows you to view, download, and generate the combined license file for all Kyvos nodes.

On the Kyvos License page, you can do perform the following steps.

  1. Click the generate and download license request file link to request a new license. The file downloads on your computer.

  2. Email this file to support@kyvosinsights.com. The Kyvos Support team will share a new license with you.

  3. If you already have a license, or once you receive the new license file, use the Change License link to select and upload the license file from your computer. 

  4. The license will be is uploaded at a temporary location. Click the Apply button and restart the BI Server to apply for the new license details.

Note

  • You MUST restart the BI Server for the new license to come into effect.

  • From Kyvos 2023.3 onwards, you can see the last operation details, including progress status and start time.  To  To view more comprehensive details, simply click the  View Details link, which will take you to the Operations page where you can view the operation information in detail.
