You can hide/show the legend box in both the worksheet and dashboard widget. Additionally, you can set the position of the legend box, such as top, left, bottom, or right, around the visualization. You can also choose to position the legend at the top or bottom to arrange legend items on a table. In this way, you can either arrange legend items in a table layout or a free-flow layout, depending on the content.

To display the legend, perform the following steps:
From the Toolbox, choose Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet.
In the Properties pane, choose Worksheet. The options to specify the legend settings are displayed.

Select the color palette from the Chart Color Palette list.
Select the position of the legends that you want to apply.
Select the Legend Arrangement as Free flow or in a tabular format.
Click Save.
To hide or collapse the legend properties, click the Actions menu ( ⋮ ) and select Hide to hide it or Collapse to collapse it. Click the menu again and click Expand to restore it.
