  1. Use the Input Data tool to bring data into your workflow by connecting to a file or database.

  2. Alteryx displays the Data connections window. Configure your data connection using one of the following: Recent, Saved, Files, Data Sources, or Gallery.

  4. Click the Connect to a File or Database drop-down. The Data connections dialogue is displayed. Select the Generic ODBC option for Kyvos data connection and then select ODBC.

  5. On the ODBC Connection dialog box, select the user DSN created for Kyvos. Provide Kyvos Username and Password, and click OK.

  6. On successful authentication, you will see the Choose Table or Specify Query dialog box.

  7. Navigate to the SQL Editor tab and provide Kyvos-supported SQL query that you want to run.Image Removed

  8. Click the Test Query button to verify if the provided query is correct. Image Removed

  9. Once the connection is successful, click OK.

  10. Now you can start using Alteryx ELT processing using its features (e.g. Filter, Formula, Sample, Select, Sort, Join, Union, Summarize) and export Kyvos semantic model processed data in any file format like CSV, JSON, and Excel, and so on.Image Removed
