After upgrading Kyvos, you must resave the semantic model to enable Ask Kyvos Copilot for Conversational Analytics.
Using Ask Kyvos Copilot as a Virtual Assistant
To use Kyvos Copilot for conversational Analytics, select a semantic model.
Note
Semantic models are displayed based on your profile and usage pattern.
For example,
Recently opened semantic model.
Mostly queried semantic model.
To use the Ask Kyvos Copilot virtual assistant, perform the following steps.
On the Home page, click Start Data Analysis Journey. The virtual assistant Ask Kyvos Copilot page is displayed. Alternatively, in the toolbar menu, click Ask Kyvos Copilot.
Click New Chat to start the conversation. If you have previous chats, click the Open Chat option. You can use your previous chats at any point in time.
Tip
To start with new chat, click New Chat. Alternatively, add (**) to the keyword and then add your query.
Select the semantic model from the predefined list.
You can also change the semantic model on the Change Semantic Model dialog, click Change. On the confirmation dialog, click Continue.The predefined questions related to the selected semantic model is displayed. Clicking on these questions instantly generates the answers, further streamlining your analysis.
Click the Refresh button to generate new questions related to semantic model. Once you input a query, Kyvos Ask Copilot fetches the relevant information based on the selected semantic model. You can view the retrieved data. The new list of questions will be displayed.
Click the question and the response is displayed.
On the Kyvos virtual assistant page, you can also perform the following:
Info: Click this icon to view the semantic model details. You can also click the Edit SQL Query link to change semantic model in SQL editor. Click Apply. The data changes will reflect on the virtual assistant page.
Data Summary: Click this icon to view data summary in native language.
Save as: Click this icon to save the data in workbook that would be part of your dashboard. You can also save the data using the Save link display on the right of the page. The workbook will be displayed in the Kyvos and you can use it for further operations.
Settings: Click this icon to do some settings to view the data. The setting options vary depending on the type of questions and view type you select for data input.
Once you have configured the Conversational AI option on the GenAI page, the Ask Kyvos Copilot feature will be displayed on the Kyvos Home page and in the toolbar menu.

Important points to know
The Ask Kyvos Copilot must be configured through the Kyvos Manager on the GenAI Configuration page.
You can either select a semantic model from a predefined list. After selecting the semantic model, the predefined list of questions will be displayed. You can change the semantic model at any point in time.
You can type your query or use the microphone option to generate it.
The Ask Kyvos Copilot feature provides a flexible communication platform. You can initiate a new chat session or continue with an existing one. Your chat history is preserved, enabling you to revisit previous queries.
The Ask Kyvos Copilot is a context-aware feature, which means there's no need to repeat previous queries when delving deeper into a query. It automatically responds by understanding the context of the preceding query.
Once you input a query, Kyvos Ask Copilot fetches the relevant information based on the selected semantic model. You can view the data input and use different operations, such as showing info and data summary, saving the data as a workbook that would be part of your dashboard, and using different settings for data, making it easy to understand and analyze.
The input of your query is displayed based on the metadata of the semantic model. The metadata, such as metadata, such as description, key, tags, drivers, and key element settings, enables you to get more targeted and relevant data inputs. If metadata of the semantic model is not sufficient, the accuracy of the answers might be inappropriate. In this case, you can modify semantic model metadata at any point in time.
You can export and share analysis in formats like PDF, Image, and CSV.
You can attempt a maximum of three attempts to ask queries. After reaching the maximum number of attempts, an error message is displayed. Additionally, you can view details of the error. This helps you narrow or modify your queries.
You can remove the unwanted chats.
System semantic models are not supported. All business semantic models, ROLAP and MOLAP, are supported.
