Kyvos Manager allows you to configure the BI server and Query Engine instances. You can Activate / Inactivate BI Server and Query Engine instances to optimize your resource allocation.
From Kyvos 2023.3 onwards, you can see the last performed instance state configuration operation details, including progress status and start time, by clicking the i icon located next to the Revert button. To view more comprehensive details, simply click the View Details link, which will take you to the Operations page, where you can view the operation information in detail.
To change the instance state, click the cluster name > Utilities > Change Instances State on the navigation pane.
Instances State Configuration
The page displays details for BI Server and Query Engine instances configured in your environment, along with information about the number of instances allowed by the license.
To make an instance active or inactive an instance, select or clear (respectively) the corresponding checkbox, and click the Apply button from the top right of the page.
The Status column displays the color coding used for the instances. It includes the following:
- Running
- Stopped
- Waiting
