You can view data in a worksheet in several different ways, such as in a chart or crosstab. When viewing a chart, you can also choose to show a table view of the data.

Views show the resulting data as you have sorted and filtered it.

To switch views, you must not be editing the data in the chart, table, or crosstab.

When viewing a crosstab, you’ll only see the choices available for working with a crosstab.

To change the view type, perform the following steps: 

1. From the Toolbox, select Workbooks, then select a workbook and a worksheet.
   Use the Design workspace that displays the View Type information.

2. Select a chart type from the View Type list.

To change a chart view to a table and back

1. Right-click the chart and choose Show Data, then choose Summarized View.

2. Right-click the table and choose Chart View to return to the chart view.
