Starting a scheduled down cluster

Applies to: Kyvos Enterprise  Kyvos Cloud (SaaS on AWS) Kyvos AWS Marketplace

Kyvos Azure Marketplace   Kyvos GCP Marketplace Kyvos Single Node Installation (Kyvos SNI)

In the case of AWS and Azure environments, if a cluster is shut down on schedule, you can manually restart it.

  • When the cluster shuts down as per schedule, Kyvos generates an authentication token key.

  • The cluster will start automatically at the next scheduled time.

  • You can also subscribe to notifications for when the cluster is down to receive details to restart the cluster if needed.

To start the cluster manually, you will receive an email with a link. Clicking the link will automatically fetch the token. When successful, you will be redirected to the sign-in page. The cluster may take 10-15 minutes to start. You can check the status on the Kyvos Manager.
