Setting Notification Channel Preferences

Notification channels are the mediums via which you receive alert notifications. This section will appear on the page when at least 1 notification channel has been configured.

To learn how to configure notification channels, refer Configuring Notification Channels under System Administration category.

On this page, you can specify the email id or channel id for the respective channel and choose the type of notifications (business alerts, background report completion, and approval process alerts) you want to receive via different channels.

Users can set the preferred notification channels and notification type from the preferences page.

You can configure different types of notifications –

Business Alerts – Generates an alert notification whenever a business related critical event occurs like memory trigger notification and license expiry notification.

Background Report completion – Generates an alert notification when report execution process is complete in the background

Approval process – Generates an alert notification when any report is pending approval. To know more about approval process – please refer “Approval Process Implementation” chapter.
