Managing Users in Kyvos Reporting
The Kyvos Reporting privilege is automatically granted to Administrators. Furthermore, Administrators can assign this privilege to custom roles.
Users are created in the designated organization, KyvosOrg. The functionalities available to a user depend on their role and the access rights granted.
By default, the roles below are automatically mapped for Kyvos users.
Administrator: Super Administrator
Designers: Data Administrator, Category Setup, Adhoc Report Designer, Studio Report Designer
Business Users: Category Setup, Adhoc Report Designer, Studio Report Designer
End Users: Report Viewing Privileges
Note:
Kyvos Reporting will not configure IT administrator role automatically. A Basic Reporting role will be assigned to IT administrators. Administrator (Super Administrator) users need to provide the required privileges to IT Administrator.
To create a custom role in Kyvos Reporting, perform the following steps.
Access the integration.xml file located at: \<Kyvos Reporting installation folder>\Jakarta\webapps\kyvosreporting\WEB-INF\integration.xml
In the <Reporting Roles> tag, enter the custom role information
