Kyvos Excelerate is an integration of FluenceXL (formerly XLCubed) with Kyvos, enabling users to connect to their cube data directly from their FluenceXL visualizations. Kyvos Excelerate can connect to the Kyvos cubes using the custom Kyvos connector (MDX Connectivity) and SQL connectivity (only for Extracts) for both Excel and Web Editions.

Some of the key benefits of using Kyvos Excelerate are:

1. Enhanced capability of Kyvos- FluenceXL Connector that allows for searching members within hierarchy with member having identical names
   In the grid designer, the member search feature allows users to search for specific members within a grid. In some cases, multiple members may have the same name. With the enhanced functionality of the feature within, users now have the ability to select multiple search cells in the grid designer when dealing with such scenarios. This enables them to target and retrieve the desired members accurately, even when multiple members have the same name. The expanded capability provides more flexibility and precision in navigating and selecting specific members within the grid.

2. Descendants Between Functionality in FluenceXL Web Environment for Kyvos
    FluenceXL Web provides the convenient and powerful option of using the Descendants Between functionality. This feature allows users to easily retrieve a set of descendants between two specified levels or members within a hierarchy.
   With the Descendants Between option, users can define the starting and ending points within a hierarchy, specifying the desired range. FluenceXL Web then retrieves all the descendants falling between these two points, considering the hierarchical structure. This enables users to extract a specific subset of data that is located within a particular range of the hierarchy.
   By leveraging the "Descendants Between" functionality, users can efficiently navigate through hierarchies, filter data based on specific ranges, and perform targeted analysis within the desired scope. This capability empowers users to focus on the relevant subset of data and gain valuable insights more effectively, streamlining their data exploration and decision-making processes.

3. Improved and Customized Performance for Range lookup and Formula Reporting in Kyvos- FluenceXL Connector
   The performance of range lookups on grids and formula-based reporting in FluenceXL has been optimized and tailored to provide an enhanced user experience by Kyvos. With these improvements, range lookups, which involve searching for values within a specific range or criteria, are now faster and more efficient. Users can expect quicker results when performing range-based operations on grids and when generating reports using formulas.
   By fine-tuning the performance specifically for these tasks, Kyvos ensures that users can access and analyze their data swiftly and accurately.    Once you install FluenceXL, you need to activate the Kyvos Excelerate license, and you can then start browsing Kyvos cubes from FluenceXL visualizations. Once the license is activated, you will see Kyvos Excelerate in place of FluenceXL.

To get started on Kyvos Excelerate, perform the following steps:

1. Install FluenceXL

   • Excel Edition

   • Web Edition

2. Activate Kyvos Excelerate License

3. Create Kyvos connection for Excelerate
