Configuring a push notification channel will help allows users to set preference preferences and receive notification notifications via a push notification on their Intellicus notifications on the Kyvos Reporting mobile application. Below we have discussed the The properties and associated settings required to configure a push notification channel are discussed below.
Once you configure a push channel, users would be required to login into must log in to their mobile applications to complete the setup process of setting up a push channel.

Active Channel
This property helps you specify specifies whether you want to activate or deactivate push notifications. Select Yes to activate or No to deactivate notifications via this channel. If you select not to activate this channel is not activated, the channel it will not be visible on the user preferences page.
FCM Account Settings
Intellicus Kyvos Reporting uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) services to send push notifications on to mobile applications. Below is some the mandatory information that you need to provide to setup required to set up an FCM account.:
Service Account File
This is the file that contains the authentication information needed to setup set up an FCM account. Enter the file content in manually into the text area manually. To To add a service account file, please refer to the service account file provided to you along with the setup.
Message Settings
In message settings, you need to this section, provide information related to about the messaging scope that you want to achieve via an for the FCM push notification channel.

Enter the scope (type) of entities you want to receive via through the push notification channel. For example – here, if you want to receive messages as push notifications, you need to provide a scope that states firebase indicating Firebase messages as the desired entity.

Notification Sound
The drop-down will enlist the available notification sounds. You can choose a desired soundChoose a notification sound from the available options in the dropdown. In the current version, only the Default sound can be chosenis available.
Once you enter the required values, click Test to see verify if your the channel is configured successfully configured. Click Save, if you want to set it up as it is. Discard, if you want to save the setup or Discard to start fresh.
