Important

  • Using the same external repository instance is not recommended/certified for Kyvos Manager & Kyvos both. Cluster scheduling with non-shared repo will cause the DB instance to go down; thus, the Kyvos Manager will not work properly.

  • If the same repository instance is used, then the database for Kyvos Manager and Kyvos must be different. 
    The default database name for:  

    • Kyvos is delverepo

    • Kyvos Manager is kmrepo

  • If any time the same external repository instance gets configured in Kyvos Manager and Kyvos. In that case, ensure that on the Switch Repository page of Kyvos Manager, the Shared repository is checked and configuration is saved.

Kyvos Manager and Kyvos upgrade for language setting

During the upgrade of Kyvos and Kyvos Manager application, the additional language files will not be preserved and must be updated manually after the application upgrade. 

To ensure the proper import of languages into the upgraded application, perform the following steps.

  1. Download the language bundles from the Language Settings page before upgrading.

  2. Perform the application upgrade.

  3. Download the English (en_US) language files from the upgraded application.

  4. Compare the English language files with your existing language files to identify new or updated keys. Incorporate these changes into your language files.

  5. Upload the updated language bundle files from the Language Settings page.
