The display Kyvos provides various types of display arrangement as clustered, stacked, and overlap. The stacked arrangement is useful in visualizing the total change over time of a group of quantities or a sum of values and the subtotals that contribute to the total. For example, when looking at sales data, you may want to see not only sales of individual items but also see how total sales vary over time or total sales by a salesperson, which shows the percentage of each product type.
Using a stack is not appropriate for all types of data and doesn’t work with negative numbers.
