Setting the Display Arrangements

Setting the Display Arrangements

Applies to: Kyvos Enterprise  Kyvos Cloud (SaaS on AWS) Kyvos AWS Marketplace

Kyvos Azure Marketplace   Kyvos GCP Marketplace Kyvos Single Node Installation (Kyvos SNI)

Kyvos provides various types of display arrangement as clustered, stacked, and overlap. The stacked arrangement is useful in visualizing the total change over time of a group of quantities or a sum of values and the subtotals that contribute to the total. For example, when looking at sales data, you may want to see not only sales of individual items but also see how total sales vary over time or total sales by a salesperson, which shows the percentage of each product type.
Using a stack is not appropriate for all types of data and doesn’t work with negative numbers.

To set the display arrangement, perform the following steps:

  • From the Toolbox, select Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet.

  • Select the Design Workspace icon if needed.

  • In the Properties pane, navigate to the Chat Properties, such as a bar in a graph, and choose Display Arrangement.

  • Choose one of the following options:

    • Automatic: The system will decide to show the chart as stacked or not. This option is selected by default.

    • Stacked: The chart will be stacked.

    • Regular: The chart will not be stacked. For Bar and Column chart, the columns will be clustered.

    • Overlap: This option will only be available for Bar and Column charts. The chart will not be stacked. The columns will not be clustered and will overlap with each other.
NOTE: The overlapping columns feature is available for Bar and Column charts. If the 'Overlap' option is selected and you change the view type to a chart that is neither Bar nor Column, the option will automatically switch to 'Automatic.'

    • 100% Stacked: The chart will be 100 % stacked.
