Kyvos offers various default number formats such as numbers, currency, percentage, scientific, and custom. At the worksheet level, you can format measures to modify the number format, like reporting in millions or percentages or adjusting the decimal places displayed. Additionally, you can alter the decimal places or date format for measure across multiple reports.
From Kyvos 2024.9 onwards, you can apply smart labels for date type attribute in XY family charts.

To generate reports with the desired date format, you can format date attributes in the worksheet. You have the option of using either a predefined or a custom date format.

From the Toolbox, select Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet.
Select Design if needed.
In the View type, right-click the date attribute that you want to format. Click the i icon to learn more.
To change the format, select Field Settings >Format.
Optionally, you can click Options> Field Settings >Format.
The Format dialog box is displayed.Select the Predefined date format from the list or you can specify the Custom format.
Click Apply.
Smart labels for date type attribute in XY family charts

Kyvos offers smart labeling for date-type attributes in XY family charts. These labels can display date values in various formats, such as showing only the month or year. For instance, if the data contains date values spans two years, the labels on the X-axis will display unique month-year combinations.
Smart labels dynamically adjust on zooming chart in and out, displaying values at the most relevant level of granularity.
Display smart labels for date attribute or date level (custom time hierarchy).
You will not be able to display smart labels for predefined time hierarchy.

To set the smart label for date type attribute in XY family charts, perform the following steps:
From the Toolbox, select Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet.
Select Design if needed.
In the Properties pane, select Default or Smart lable option for X-Axis Label Type.
Default: The date values are displayed exactly as retrieved from the semantic model.
Smart: Date values are adjusted to display the most relevant level of detail. By enabling smart labels, you can see more succinct labels. Dates are grouped together, and labels show a greater level of detail.
