Kyvos offers various default number formats such as numbers, currency, percentage, scientific, and custom. At the worksheet level, you can format measures to modify the number format, like reporting in millions or percentages or adjusting the decimal places displayed. Additionally, you can alter the decimal places or date format for measure across multiple reports.

To change the format, perform the following steps. 

  1. From the Toolbox, select  Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet. 

  2. Select Design if needed. 

  3. In the View type, right-click an element that you want to format. Click the i icon to learn more.

  4. To change the format, select Field Settings >Format.
    Optionally, you can click OptionsField Settings >Format. The Format dialog box is displayed.  

  5. Choose the desired format type from the list and enter relevant values.

  6. Click  Apply.

Formatting date attributes 

To generate reports with the desired date format, you can format date attributes in the worksheet. You have the option of using either a predefined or a custom date format.

To format a date attribute, perform the following steps. 

  1. From the Toolbox, select  Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet. 

  2. Select Design if needed. 

  3. In the View type, right-click the date attribute that you want to format. Click the  i   icon to learn more.

  4. To change the format, select Field Settings >Format.
    Optionally, you can click OptionsField Settings >Format.
    The Format dialog box is displayed.

  5. Select the Predefined date format from the list or you can specify the Custom format. 

  6. Click Apply.
