Geographic Information System (GIS) data allows you to integrate other types of data with geographic data. It allows you to visualize information using maps or location data to reveal patterns and relationships. Examples include  GIS bubble or GIS heat map charts.

For example, you can integrate geographic data with your sales data so you can see sales performance mapped using GIS bubble or GIS heat map charts.

To support your data with geographic information, you can use Google Maps and tools or Leaflet js + Openstreetmap.

Leaflet is an open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps. See http://leafletjs.com/ to learn more.

OpenStreetMap is a free, editable map of the world that is being built by volunteers and released with an open-content license. See https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/About_OpenStreetMap   to learn more.
