Kyvos needs existing query patterns to provide appropriate recommendations. You can define additional query patterns to be used as input by the recommendation system to recommend both partition and aggregation strategies. Define query patterns in addition to or instead of doing a test data process and creating queries to fine-tune those recommendations.

When you are defining a smart aggregation strategy, you can add additional query patterns that group by, summarize on, or filter by the fields you specify. In the Query Patterns dialog, the checkboxes are active for the fields that you can use. For example, you may be able to filter by or group by a dimension, attribute, or level. Then you can summarize or filter using measures. Numbers are displayed next to the column headings to let you know how many fields are used for grouping, summarizing, or filtering.
