With the Kyvos 2024.3.2 release, you can change from an external compute cluster to Kyvos Native for processing semantic models by following a three-step process through Kyvos Manager on the Compute Cluster page:
Configure the Kyvos Native Cluster configurations
Change the default compute configurations
Finally, change the default compute cluster type via the kyvos.process.compute.type advanced semantic model property.
You can migrate the compute cluster from the External Compute Cluster to the Kubernetes Cluster on AzureĀ either manually or via the Kyvos Manager on the Compute Cluster page.
Important
If you have deployed Kyvos with Kyvos Native compute cluster, you cannot switch to the External Compute cluster to process semantic models.
To configure Compute cluster, perform the following steps.
Click the cluster name > Kyvos and Ecosystem > Compute Cluster on the navigation pane to view this information.
On the Compute Cluster page displays the two tabs:
Native: Click this tab to select the Containerized Kubernetes or Shared Query Engines as a compute cluster to process semantic model.
External: Click this tab to view the External compute cluster details.
Enter the details as:
Kyvos Native
External: To know more about External Compute Cluster, see the Hadoop Ecosystem Configuration section.
