KPI properties provide options for customizing your KPI chart. Additionally, you can use the Rich Text Editor to customize the KPI charts, such as for conditional highlighting of text.

You can select from default templates or create your own.

To use a default template, perform the following steps:

  1. Click each of the template names in the Select Template list to view the available template types applied to your chart.

  2. Select the template name you want to use.

Creating custom templates for KPI Charts

To create a custom template, perform the following steps: 

  1. Set Select Template to None.

  2. Click Customize Design.

  3. Use the Rich Text Editor to create a custom design. See Rich Text Editor to learn more.

  4. Click Apply

Adding Actions to KPI Charts

To add an action using the custom template, perform the following steps: 

  1. Set Select Template to None.

  2. Click Customize Design.
    The Rich Text Editor is displayed. 

  3. In the Insert list, click Actions, then select the required action you want to display in both the sheet and dashboard.

Note

If you want to apply multiple actions in a single KPI, you must separate them by adding columns or rows.

  1. Click Apply. You can view the selected action in the KPI sheet as a link.   

     
    Clicking the action will open the worksheet or dashboard based on the filters you specified for that action.
