You can view multiple measures of data in a chart by dragging measures onto Column lists. This feature is more useful for certain chart types.

To set multiple measures, perform the following steps:

  1. From the Toolbox, select Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet.
  2. Use the Design workspace.
  3. Select a Measure group and do one of the following:
    1. Click the arrow next to the group name to expand the group and navigate to the measure.
    2. Type a measure into the Search box to quickly locate it.
  4. Select a measure and drag it to the Column list.
  5. Repeat this step to add more than one measure to the list.

Other ways to add dimensions or measures

  • You can double-click a dimension or measure name to add it to a chart or crosstab. Depending on the chart type you are using, the dimension or measure may be added to the Row or Column list. It gets added to Color if there are no dimensions or measures assigned to Color. If you double-click a second dimension or measure, it is placed on the next available choice.
