For cloud deployments, you can manage Kyvos cluster scaling and query engine capacity based on schedule-based scaling or load-based scaling. Cluster scaling management improves the utilization of your cloud cluster and saves compute costs.
You can adjust the capacity to accommodate peak demand times. You can set a query engine capacity for each event you add to the Kyvos system. Over time, as you monitor usage, you will learn when to increase the capacity and when to reduce it or take the service offline.

Info

  • When you deploy a Kyvos cluster, the Schedule and the Load options are displayed on the Cluster Scaling page. When you deploy a kyvos cluster, the Load option will be selected by default.
  • You can create a schedule to change the cluster state at any point in time by setting the Query Engine capacity  by using the Change Cluster State link, which is available on the 'Cluster Scaling' page for both schedule-based and load-based scaling.
