Change Value in Bundle File

If you need to modify one or more values in an existing language bundle file (either for the Portal or the Report Server), follow these steps:

Step 1: Backup the Bundle File

Before making any changes, always back up the existing bundle file.

• The Portal bundle file is located at:
  <Kyvos Reporting Installation Path>\Jakarta\webapps\kyvosreporting\client\lang

• The Report Server bundle file is located at:
  <Kyvos Reporting Installation Path>\ReportEngine\resourcebundles

Step 2: Open the File and Search for the Value to Be Changed

1. Open the language bundle file in Microsoft Excel.

2. Activate the respective sheet and search for the value you want to change.

   • The value you wish to modify may be part of other keys. Be cautious before clicking "Replace" to ensure you are modifying the correct value.

3. After making the necessary changes, save the file.

Step 3: Restart the Server

• After saving the changes to the Portal bundle file, restart the web server.

• After saving the changes to the Report Server bundle file, restart the Report Server.
