Starting Kyvos Manager
Before starting Kyvos Manager for the first time, you can change the default port (if needed) using the KYVOS_MANAGER_SERVER_PORT variable in env.sh file at kyvosmanager/bin location. Refer to the Appendix for details about the default ports of all Kyvos components.
You can also configure the Kyvos Manager metadata location.
The user account used to manage or stop the Kyvos Manager should be the same as the account used for installation.
Start Kyvos Manager from the terminal, using the following commands:
cd
kyvosmanager_war/kyvosmanager/bin
./startup.sh
Accessing Kyvos Manager
To access the Kyvos Manager using any of the supported Web browsers, perform the following steps.
Open a browser window and enter http://<IP>:<PORT>/kyvosmanager to launch the application. By default, you can access Kyvos Manager through port 8080.
Login to Kyvos Manager using your credentials.
If you are logging in for the first time, you will be redirected to the Change Password page. Change your password, and re-login into the application to continue.
Note
The default credentials for username/password are admin/admin. To keep your system secure, you should change your password and save the new password in a safe location
First-time users are directed to the Settings page If you have not uploaded the Kyvos Manager license, click to upload the license file. If not already available, click the icon to request a license.
In the Users area, click the Edit icon to enter a valid email address for the user’s account. This email is used for password recovery and other communications.
