Changing workspace settings

The Workspace settings allow you to configure the way your workspace looks. You can select the panels that you want to show on your workspace. Kyvos supports various workspace settings types for different parts of the application. You will see different settings for the designer and visualization screens. This section provides information on how to work with both types.

Workspace settings for relationship and semantic model designers

To set Workspace settings for relationship and semantic model designers, perform the following steps. 

1. On the relationship or semantic model designer, Click the Actions menu (...) and choose Workspace Settings. In the following example, we have shown the option in the semantic model designer.

2. On the Workspace Settings dialog box, select or deselect the panels that you want to view, then click Apply.

3. Click Restore Default Layout to return the default setting.

Workspace settings on workbooks

To set Workspace settings on workbooks, perform the following: 

1. On the dashboard, workbooks, and worksheets, Kyvos supports a Design and View workspace.

   Choose the workspace style you want to use, and the workspace will hide or reveal options based on your selection.

   • Design reveals the panes and options used to create that type of item.

   • View hides the panes and only displays the item in the workspace.

   • Workspace Settings options differ for the different workspaces.

2. Click the Workspace Settings options, select or deselect the panels you want to see, and then click Apply.

3. Click Restore Default Layout to return the default setting.
