Warehouse Catalog: From the Schema menu, select the Warehouse Catalog option. The Warehouse Catalog opens after it retrieves the table information from the Kyvos database. The Warehouse Catalog queries the data from Kyvos and lists the tables and columns that exist in it. From this list, you can select the tables to add to your project. Every project can have a unique set of warehouse tables.
Table Prefix: Allows you to add or remove a table prefix for the selected table. right-click and select the Table Prefix option. Choose the relevant prefix of the Kyvos Folder/Database.
To create facts with the Fact Creation Wizard: Click Define Rules to set some basic fact creation rules. The Fact Creation Rules page opens. Rules help automate and govern the fact creation process. If the naming conventions in your warehouse do not conform to the defaults in the Fact Creation Rules page, you may need to change these rules. Select Numeric and leave the remaining checkboxes cleared.
Important
You must clear the Replace underscores checkbox in the fact name with spaces. Else, the MicroStrategy generated SQL Syntax does not support the Spark/Kyvos SQL slandered.
To create attributes using the Attribute Creation Wizard
In the Project Creation Assistant, click Create attributes. The Attribute Creation Wizard is displayed, which helps create attributes. The Column data type area allows you to select the column data types to be available as possible attribute ID columns. Select the checkboxes for the data types that should be included when the wizard searches the data warehouse for available attribute ID columns.
Notes
To successfully create and run the created attributes, consider the following as per Kyvos requirement
