With Kyvos, you can set up a data connection to connect to your Teradata data warehouse and use it as a data source.
Note
Raw data querying is not supported on Teradata.
To create a Teradata connection, perform the following steps.
You need to first upload the third-party JAR files for Teradata through the Kyvos Manager.
Important
Kyvos is not responsible for maintaining or validating the licenses and sanity of these third-party JAR files, and cannot be held liable for any system errors arising due to these JAR files. You must ensure you have a valid Teradata license for the correct working of the connection.
After you have uploaded the third-party JAR files, navigate to Setup > Connections on the Kyvos Web Portal.
Open the DefaultHadoopConnection and click Properties.
The kyvos.connection.sparkclasspath.jar property is displayed.ÂFrom the Actions menu ( ⋮ ) click Add Connection.
Enter a name or select it from the Connection list.
After you finish configuring the settings using the table shown below, click the Test button from the top left to validate the connection settings.
If the connection is valid, click the Save button.Â
To refresh connections, click the Actions menu ( ⋮ ) at the top of the Connections column and select Refresh.
