Studio Reports - Section and Controls Properties

The report properties define the properties of the sections and controls placed in a report. You can personalize and configure your report to suit your needs by editing the report properties.

When you place a control on the Desktop Studio report, its associated properties with its name and default values are displayed on the property pane whenever the report is opened. Click a section or a control to view its properties in the Property pane.

On the Property pane, the list of properties has two buttons on the title bar. You can also apply these properties at runtime or at design time, using the Script Editor.

  • The  button lists properties grouped by category.

  • The  button lists properties grouped by alphabetical order.

Note: The properties listed in the Property pane changes depending on the field control you select from the layout window.

You can enter a new value or modify the existing value against the property name, if required.

For example, if the default value for the property ‘Name’ is displayed as ‘Label’, you can click on the property value in the Property pane to modify it.
