Partitions

Partitions are internal structures used by Kyvos to manage and drop or update data in a semantic model. The base partition must be created on the Date type value.

Multiple partitions are created based on the partition size defined, and sub-partitions are specified.

Sub partitions

You can add or edit sub-partitions. The sub-partition should be a dimension other than the base date. Use sub-partitions to define an additional column for partitioning data. For example, if a primary partition is based on Sales, you might use Country.
