VM_IDENTITY

Description:

This property defines the managed identities associated with an Azure Virtual Machine and regulates Azure REST API calls from the Kyvos application.

Values and behavior:

Both and USER_ASSIGNED

• Both: This value indicates that both user-assigned and system-assigned managed identities are attached to the Virtual Machine.
  NOTE: Kyvos will include the unique ID of the user-assigned managed identity in the REST calls.

• USER_ASSIGNED: This value indicates that the user-assigned managed identity attached to the Virtual Machine.
  NOTE: Kyvos won't include the managed identity unique ID (fs.azure.account.oauth2.client.id) in the REST calls to Azure services.

Default value:

USER_ASSIGNED

Comes into effect:

Required BI Server to restart to come into effect.
