The menu options provided on the cluster dashboard page allow you to perform various actions and operations on the cluster. These operations apply to all nodes in the cluster.Â
Note
For all cluster actions, you are required to enter the Kyvos Manager login password.
The following sections provide information on the various actions that you can perform on the cluster.
Start Services
Use this option to start the cluster services on all nodes.
You can choose to start:
Only the Kyvos Application Services for BI Server, Web Portal, Postgres Server, and App Master
All Services including Kyvos Application services along with the KM Agent services.
Restart Services
Use this option to restart the cluster services on all nodes.
You can choose to restart:
Only the Kyvos Application Services for BI Server, Web Portal, Postgres Server, and App Master
All Services including Kyvos Application services along with the Kyvos Manager Agent services.
Note
If Kyvos Manager High Availability is enabled, the Restart Active Kyvos Manager Instance option will be displayed.
Stop Services
Use this option to stop the cluster services on all nodes.
You can choose to restart:
Only the Kyvos Application Services for BI Server, Web Portal, Postgres Server, and App Master
All Services including Kyvos Application services along with the KM Agent services.
Tip
You can also Start/Restart/Stop any services using the right-click options on individual nodes, as shown in the figure below.
Save Configuration as Template
Use this option to save the current cluster configurations in the form of template that can be loaded for future use.
Sync Options
Use the options provided here to keep Hadoop configuration changes synced after deployment. You must always synchronize the Hadoop configuration and library files after upgrading to newer Hadoop versions. The configuration synchronization restarts the Kyvos services.
From here, you can choose to:
Sync Hadoop configuration files
Sync Hadoop libraries
Run JAR services
Deleting Kyvos Cluster
Use this option to permanently delete a deployed cluster.
To delete a cluster, perform the following steps.
On the Kyvos Manager dashboard, select the Delete Cluster option from the Actions menu (...).
To delete a cluster, you need to specify your Kyvos Manager Password and click the Delete button.
