Creating Kyvos Cluster for On-prem Environment

Kyvos Azure Marketplace  Kyvos GCP Marketplace Kyvos Single Node Installation (Kyvos SNI)
To create a Kyvos cluster, perform the following steps.
Click the Cluster tab in the navigation pane. Kyvos Manager displays the Cluster Creation page.
Enter details as:
Parameter/Field | Description/Comments |
---|---|
Cluster Name | Enter a unique name for the cluster. |
Platform | Select the ON-PREMISE option to deploy the cluster. |
Specify Hosts | Enter a comma-separated list of hostnames to deploy the Kyvos cluster. Kyvos services like BI Server, Web Portal, and Query Engine (in non-YARN mode) runs on these nodes. |
User Name | Enter the username to deploy the cluster. This user must be available on all the nodes with the same credentials. NOTE: Root user cannot perform cluster deployment. |
Authentication Type | Select from Password or Shared Key option. If you select the Shared Key option, upload the key to authenticate nodes. |
Password | Enter the password to authenticate nodes. |
Node Rights | Select the scope of user permissions to allow sudo or non-sudo based deployment. NOTE: Ganglia deployment is not supported for non-sudo users. |
Kyvos Installation Path | Enter the installation path to deploy Kyvos. |
Tip
Alternatively, you can use the Load Template option to load a previously saved configuration template to deploy the cluster.
Refer to Kyvos Manager Templates for details.
Click Fetch Node Details to retrieve nodes' information. The Node List area is displayed with a list of nodes.
Click Next. The system inspects nodes to validate prerequisites.Â
Tip
When a node is highlighted in Red, click the Back button and edit the information you have entered to resolve the error.
Click Next. You are directed to the Hadoop page.
