Colors

Applies to: Kyvos Enterprise  Kyvos Cloud (SaaS on AWS) Kyvos AWS Marketplace

Kyvos Azure Marketplace   Kyvos GCP Marketplace Kyvos Single Node Installation (Kyvos SNI)

You can use colors to add additional depth to the data shown in Kyvos. You can select a color palette, but you can’t assign colors to particular data or values.  If you have chosen a continuous color palette, you can reverse the color order chosen.

Over time, the colors assigned to a particular item may change. For example, a dimension such as City may be set to the color of the yellow one on one day, and later it may be set to the color of red. This is because when the data is regenerated, the colors are reassigned.

To work with colors, you need to use a workspace that shows the color options.

To assign colors to a dimension or hierarchy, perform the following steps:

  1. From the Toolbox, choose Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet.

  2. Select Design if needed.

  3. Drag a dimension or measure value to the Color list.

To set or change the color palette, perform the following steps:

  1. From the Toolbox, choose Workbooks, then select a workbook and worksheet.

  2. Select Design if needed.

  3. Click the Actions menu ( ⋮ ) menu next to Color, choose Settings, and choose a palette from the list or see which palette is being used.

  4. Optionally, you can choose Reversed to reverse the color order of a continuous color palette.
(This option is only available with continuous colors.)

  5. Adjust the step count value if needed.
(This option is only available with continuous colors.)

  6. To remove color settings, click the ( ⋮ ) menu next to Color and choose Clear All.

To sort the dimensions or hierarchy values used with color, perform the following steps:
