Privileges definition

Privileges are associated with a role and define what a user is allowed to do. See Privileges to view a table of all of the available choices. 

For example, Notification privileges let you specify by group who can provide inputs for global events and who can subscribe other users to specific types of notifications. If a user is a member of a group with specific notification privileges set, they will receive those notifications without having to subscribe themselves or needing someone to subscribe to each individual one.
