Linking cards

You can link cards as the source or target for other cards. When data cards are linked, the selection of data points in the source data card will apply the filter for the selected data points to the target data cards.

To set linking options for a card

1. From the Toolbox, select Workbooks, then select a workbook and dashboard.

2. Click the Actions menu ( ⋮ ) in the upper right corner of a card and choose Link Card As. Specify whether the card is a source or target, or both.

After cards are linked, click the Actions menu ( ⋮ ) in the upper right corner of a card and choose Link Card As. Then click source or target to unselect them.

Linking options for dashboard

To set linking options for the dashboard, perform the following steps.

1. From the Toolbox, select Workbooks, then select a workbook and dashboard.

2. Click the Options menu above the dashboard and choose Link Cards to specify each card in the dashboard as a source, target, or both.

3. You can click Search and type a name to quickly find it.

4. Click Clear All below the source or target columns to clear all the choices.

5. Click Save.
