Roles definition
Kyvos uses roles along with security features to control access to the product features and data. A role grants permission to access a particular set of functionality. You must also have security permissions to access underlying data. The default roles are Administrator, Designer, Business User, and End User.
When you set up groups, you can set up hierarchies so that a particular group could be composed of other groups. Often those groups are based around roles - the roles those individuals play within the company. You can assign a role to a group so that you don’t need to assign roles to everyone. Assign users to a group, and they automatically get an effective role.
Depending on your user role, you will see different parts of Kyvos and may not see all of the features shown in this guide.
